Terry J. Zimmerman, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the medical director of The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He received his undergraduate bachelors degree in biology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and his medical degree at the University of Southern California (USC). He then completed a five year general surgery residency within the East Bay program in Oakland, California. Dr. Zimmerman went on to complete a comprehensive three year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Davis (UCD) Medical Center. Dr. Zimmerman is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He also furthered his education by obtaining a Certification of added Qualification in Hand Surgery.
