Claire Visitacion MD, MBA completed her internship and residency training at Cleveland Clinic-Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. She is board-certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. While serving her community through her practice, Dr. Visitacion completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Claire trained with and currently serves as a member of American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, as well as the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP) Practice Management Committee. She also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership in Athens, GA. She received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Award in 2010 from Northeast Ohio Medical University for excellence in teaching and outstanding compassion towards medical students and patients, respectively. After office hours, Dr. Claire wears multiple hats, as wife to an Infectious Disease specialist, Dr. Mark, and as mom to her two young children. She is also an active leader in her local church as a youth coordinator. In her spare time, Dr. Claire loves to run and has completed full and half marathons locally.
